SAM Splint 36" Mouldable Universal Splint (91 cm, Black)
SAM Splint is a renowned universal splint for immobilizing fractures and soft-tissue injuries. The C-Curve™ principle: Lightweight yet extremely strong
The revolutionary C-Curve™ principle is the key to SAM Splint. Flat, the splint is soft and mouldable; bent into a structural curve such as a C-curve or T-curve, it becomes exponentially stronger and more supportive. This allows an ultralight splint to stabilize everything from minor fractures to large weight-bearing bones.
Endless versatility
The splint can be shaped, folded and cut to fit almost any injury. Use it for a broken arm, leg or ankle, or shape it into a cervical collar when neck injury is suspected. It can be cut with ordinary scissors to create smaller finger and wrist splints.
Tactical and medical standard
SAM Splint is radiolucent, so it need not be removed for X-ray examination, saving critical time and reducing unnecessary pain. It can be cleaned with common disinfectants and reused. It is waterproof, weighs only approx. 113 gram and is unaffected by extreme temperatures or altitudes.
