Safer access to the pleural space
SAM ThoraSite is an anatomical landmark guide designed to identify the correct procedure site for lateral thoracostomies and similar pleural procedures. The device helps the operator locate the appropriate intercostal space, reducing the risk of incorrect placement.
Use
Position ThoraSite as instructed to identify the landmarks. The device is non-sterile and intended for single use. Particularly useful in stressful field environments where anatomical orientation may be impeded by body armour, clothing or casualty position.
