This product combines the powerful, haemostatic the effect of 100% chitosan with a sterile gauze that is Z-weight for quick, easy and controlled wound packing. it is an essential tool in each advanced trauma- and medical equipment.
Powerful haemostatic action with 100% Chitosan
The gauze is impregnated with 100% chitosan, a naturally and very effectively haemostatic agent. Chitosan works through an electrostatic reaction that draws to itself red blood cells and creates a strong clot directly during the injury site. This process is regardless of the body's own clotting ability and works thereby also on casualties with cooling (hypothermia) or that stands on anticoagulant medications.
Optimised for wound packing (Wound Packing)
