Wound film with pad consists of a transparent, semi-permeable dressing that is showerproof and sterile-packed. The wound film is a thin PU film with a latex-free adhesive. The pad is non-adherent and coated with perforated PE film. The dressing is permeable to vapour and oxygen. The dressing has a light absorption capacity. The dressing protects covered skin from external contamination. The dressing is suitable for use after surgery, for wound injuries and during dressing changes where a showerproof dressing is required.

Clean the wound and surrounding skin. Wait until dry. Bend the dressing where the second backing paper is to be removed to make it easier to remove. Do not touch the adhesive. Remove the backing paper so that the adhesive surface is partially exposed, retain your grip on the backing papers against the adhesive surface and begin applying the dressing over the area to be covered. Position the dressing centrally over the area to be covered. Pull the backing papers in opposite directions until they have been completely removed. Smooth the dressing from the centre towards the edges and then around the edges to ensure that the dressing forms a tight seal. Then remove the second backing paper.
